AFC Asian Cup 2019: Japan reached the final by defeating Iran

Japan’s football team defeated Iran on Monday (January 28th), performing in the AFC Asian Cup semifinals here and out of the tournament. By winning this important match 3-0, Japan has made it to the final of the tournament.

This was the 100th match for the Chief Coach of Iran as Kloster Quiroz, but his team failed to make it memorable. 65-year-old Quiros took over the post of chief coach of Iran’s national team in April 2011 and under his guidance, the team made history by successfully completing two (2014, 2018) FIFA World Cup qualifying.
