Chennai: The Indian Space Agency will launch an electronic intelligence satellite AMISAT for the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) in March under a special mission. In this mission, along with the new version of the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV), the other 28 satellites will also go into space and in the meantime new technologies will also be tried for different classes.

DRDO President K. Sivan said, ‘This is our special mission. We will use the PSLV rocket with four strap-on motors (boosters). Apart from this, for the first time, we will try to reach the rocket at three different heights. “

He said, “PSLV Rocket will have the defense of the main satellite DRDO intelligence satellite amissat.” Its weight will be 420 kg. ‘Sivan said,’ With this, the rocket will also carry 28 satellites of our customers, whose total weight is 250 kilograms. ‘DRDO’s Amisat is an electronic intelligence satellite.

ISRO will launch two more defense satellites along with its new rocket mini satellite launch vehicle (SSLV) in July, August. Sivan said, “After launching AMISAT at an altitude of 763 km, the rocket will be brought down to set up 28 satellites at a height of 504 kilometers.”
